The first six people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
- What I create will be just for you.
- It'll be done this year.
- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be wood. Possibly metal. Perhaps a picture. Or, I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you have to put this in your journal as well. We all can make stuff!

This has been such a crazy year from day one I'm not even sure where it has gone. January was full of whitelinedancer in the hospital and dealing with the financial fall out from that. Then came February with taking him to therapy twice a week. Then March and to tell the truth I'm not sure what we did. I know we got SS disability paper work started. Hope it works out because we are getting about $50 less then our monthly bills and I don't want to think of how much less then our yearly bills.

April has started with BIL having to be taken to the doctor with back problems and granddaughter in the hospital for surgery to put rods in her back. She is doing very well.

It is bad when it is only April and I'm ready to end the year and have start a new one. I guess I'll just have to work on the quarter plan and hope this quarter ends up better then the last one. :)

Yesterday whitelinedancer was let out of the hospital and I brought him home. Live is to some degree coming back to normal. Well the new normal. There are still changes that are in process but they all appear to be on track.

The cat is less stressed. Poor thing she really missed whitelinedancer. It didn't help that I was also gone all day every day while he was in the hospital and she is use to us being home more of the time.

I'm still trying to catch up on my sleep. I keep wondering how long it will take. Feel like I have been tired forever.

whitelinedancer is still tired, too, but hopefully he will catch everyone up as soon as he is feeling better.

Again thanks for all who kept us in their thoughts and prayers. If you have the time please keep it up, it is a bit scary that he had the second stroke and the finances are still being worked on.

After Lawyers, sales of property, spending of money, rehab, and I've forgot what else, whitelinedancer will be home tomorrow morning. He is doing very well. They have change some of his meds and he has a list of exercises. The only difference seems to be a bit more of a tremor in his right hand. Even this seems to get better if he just relaxes and thinks about it so still has a chance of clearing up more.

It is unbelievable what you have to go through to get medical help in this country if you aren't totally broke and don't have insurance. Trying to get reasonable insurance if you have health problems is impossible. So round and round it goes, but in the end it looks like we will be able to comply with all that they are requiring that is if the stupid letter they were suppose to have sent on Monday with the information on what they need.

I had to find a lawyer fast to take care of some of the stuff. I didn't have time to ask around and who would I have ask? I don't know anyone who has dealt with all of this stuff using a lawyer. So I went looking on the Internet. I found someone who was close and just seem like they might be right. I called and as the receptionist said I sounded really stressed (understatement)but she was wonderful and figured out what I was trying to say and let me know that yes they had a lawyer who handled those kinds of things. So I showed up the next day problem was it wasn't the right day. My appointment was for the next, next day, but they still made time for us and help us take care of everything. I also knew I was in the right place as I walked up to the place. It was in a white house and across the front it said "Lawyers in The White House". I'll try to get a picture the next time we go.

At this point I'm still exhausted but feeling much better about everything. Baring any other problems it looks like everything is working out just fine. The only problem left is that it is a bit worrying that he had a second stroke with the meds he was taking but I'm guessing the meds were what kept it so small so now we just pray that it won't happen again.

Well Saturday after they got whitelinedancer up they realized there was some damage. It turned out that there was a small left side stroke and because of the problems they were seeing may have been an even smaller right side one. It is felt that rehab will be very good for him so he didn't get to come home because if he left the hospital he couldn't go back. The Doctors and the Rehab people all agree that rehab is important. I have no idea how it will work out for paying but Harborview's mission is to help everyone regardless of if they can pay. As someone once told me Harborview has been in the red so long they wouldn't know what it was to be in the black.

It is believed that the rehab will help to get most everything back. It would also appear that they are working to help some of the other health issues he has. So we just keep the faith it will all work out.

If this country is going to be truly great we really have to catch up with the rest of the civilized world and have health care available to everyone, and I don't mean letting for profit insurance companies rake off the cream. I would much rather trust the government then people who want nothing more then to take the cream off the top as profit.

We also thank all of you who are praying and keeping us in your thoughts and hearts.

For those who don't know whitelinedancer ,my dear husband, is in the hospital. Yesterday morning we though he had another small stroke. Over his heavy protesting we were off the the hospital to have it checked out.

After a cat scan and an mri it appears there is no new damage which is good. They think in maybe a thing where the new areas of the brain that have taken over for the stoke damaged parts get confused. Everything seems be be getting better now though. He very much wants to come home today and since I really missed him last time I hope so too.

Hopefully he will post about his adventure when he gets hope.

Love and hugs.

Today I realized I have gotten to use to my toys like the key chain thingy that unlocks my car doors. As I was going up to my car I click the button and nothing happened. I had a moment of panic while I wondered how I would get into my car. Silly though since car doors still unlock with the key. DUH.

Happy New Year to all. Yes I'm still alive but most of you know that anyway. :)

Today we didn't do much just hung out, but next week we are going to start going to the gym again. Yes, new years goals. I hate "resolutions" lol. I have a few others but I'll just keep them to myself for now and maybe post about them as I work on them.

Well may everyone have a happy new year filled with all manner of good stuff.

PS yes I also plan to post more in the new year.

We have been without power for 4 almost 5 days now. I'm so sick of being cold I can hardly stand it. At least it is mostly staying above freezing so the pipes are still okay.

Lost everything in the freezer and fridge. We have no idea when the power will be up. Yesterday they said tonight by midnight but today it is Thursday evening.

This was one of the most damaging wind storms even if it wasn't the biggest.

We have spent time at the Burien Yarn Stash Bonnie and Beth have been wonderful letting us leach bandwidth, heat, and coffee. Other times we are at the library like now.

I know that others have had it worse but man it isn't fun no matter how long. For me this is the longest I can ever remember.

The library is closing so I will try to offer more later.

*Hugs* and love to all
